I thought I ordered tea, not coloring for water.

"Mighty Leaf, you have disappointed me. The quality of your tea has gone down hill at an angle so steep, it astounds me to even wonder how you could climb back up.
This tea is weak, weak, weak, weak, weak! I thought I'd ordered a delicious tea, perfect for the cold weather. There was no caramel, pear, or chocolate flavor present at all (though it was there in the fragrance department while in the bag and unsteeped), but I apparently ordered four ounces of dried "brown water," and/or potpourri, since it's not even worth drinking.
I've tried various temperatures and steep times, and the result is always the same: flat, dull, brown water that doesn't even taste like the base of black tea, let alone the flavors described. The only thing I haven't tried temperature-wise is cold brewing, but this flavor profile is one that is meant to be enjoyed hot.
I don't want a tea that has to be fixed with milk, sugar, salt, and any other assortment of additives to be able to be enjoyed. I want to be able to remove my infuser and drink the tea as it is."

"Honestly, I didn’t detect pear or caramel notes in either the dry or brewed tea. Taste: As with smell, I found this nondescript. It was smoother than a lot of black teas, which indicates that it was a good quality black tea leaf, and there was a softening element from something, but it wasn’t distinct. Sugar helped, but I generally steer away from teas that require sugar to be good."

"This tea is grand. I had luck with the orange chocolate truffle I decided I'd try this tea. I believe this tea is the better of the two. The flavours of caramel, pear, and rich dark chocolate tantalize the tongue, especially when sweetened. A lot. I suspect this would be great with cream, but it has wonderfully full and satisfyingly fulfilling body even without the luxury of cream. This has something to offer to those trying to find their 'sea-legs' in tea as well as the honed palate looking for a unique yet sublimely sensational brew."

"I discovered this when I ordered the sampler pack of the chocolate teas for Valentines Day. This is the one that has really stuck with me. I ordered the pound size for me and for a Christmas gift box I made for my niece. She tried it once at my house and loved it. Now she's got her boyfriend into it. The smell alone is heaven!
