"I've found this matcha powder works best with a mixture of hot water plus milk. It creates a slightly foamy matcha (green tea) latte that is neither too bitter nor too sweet. It does not clump as some other powders do in liquid, though I recommend whisking often, if you're using a stovetop heating method. (Make sure not to overheat your latte, as the milk can scorch.)
This product does have caffeine, though not enough to keep you awake if you want to have a cup before bed."

Hi---I wondered about the same calorie question so I EM'd ML about it. I can't locate the original EM however as I recall, the calorie count for the Matcha powder was about 40 per Tablespoon. If you use non-fat milk, it's still less than Starbuck's Green Tea Latte!
