Customer Reviews for Tulsi Rose

Tulsi Rose

Tulsi Rose is made using tulsi, an herb popular in India and sometimes known as “Holy Basil.” Tulsi is used in some Hindu religious ceremonies and is noted for its purported medical powers among certain traditional healers. This golden tea has a pungent aroma of basil and rose and a lively, sweet floral taste with notes of citrus. Drinking this magical brew leaves a sensation of herbal freshness on the tongue.     • 4 oz. loose tea in bag     • 1 rounded tbsp. per 12 oz. cup     • Makes 25-30 cups

spicy, watch out if you have a clove allergy

Date:September 13, 2011
Pros: Great Aroma, Unique Flavor Profile
"This tea was delicious but I am unfortunately allergic to it...I have to avoid all teas with spice because I'm allergic to cloves...although spice is not mentioned in the description...it tastes spicy and I reacted strongly. Just thought I'd put it out there in case any one else is sensitive."

Pros: Unique Flavor Profile
"Glad to find Holy Basil here but the tea is too perfumey with the rose petals for my taste and the lemongrass overpowers other flavors. Can't really taste the Holy Basil much."

Great aroma and has the body of it`s own

Date:December 14, 2010
Pros: Great Aroma, High Quality
"Great aroma of rose which fills the room as infused in the boiled water. Also the taste is well balanced matched with the strong aroma. Great new addition of non-caffein herbal tea."
