Organic Lu An Gua Pian

Organic Lu An Gua Pian green tea , also known as "Little Melon Seed" is an exquisite, high-grade green tea grown in China's Anhui province.  Processed using only the beautiful emerald green leaves, without any buds, the Lu An Gu Pian tea dates back to the Tang Dynasty.  This refreshing green tea yields a sweet and floral taste with a smooth filong lasting finish similar to that of a Ti Kuan Yin oolong tea .     • 4 oz. loose tea in bag     • 1 rounded tbsp. per 12 oz. cup     • 4 oz bag makes 25-30 cups

Delicious

Date:June 27, 2011
Pros: Great Aroma, Smooth Body, High Quality, Whole Leaf Tea
"I really love this tea alot. The flavor is complex yet somehow very simple. It has a notes of pine and healthy greens but in a good way. Light floral tones are also present. This was my first tea I had purchased from Mighty Leaf after a study abroad program I had taken to China. This really brings me back everytime I have a cup.
I cannot say enough about the quality of this product and the taste. It is invigorating, refreshing, and relaxing at the same time. The second brew of these leaves is the best.
Well done! This tea is best at any time of day."

Refreshing green tea

Date:March 24, 2013
Pros: Smooth Body
"I found this to be a very pleasant tea; not as sweet (so to speak) as Long Jing, but comparable in its character. The taste is light and leafy, but strong enough to taste and smell in a typical infusion."

Nice Green

Date:January 14, 2011
Pros: Great Aroma, Smooth Body, High Quality
"I didn't find this to be like an oolong as the product description suggested. It is a high quality green. Tastes of spinach, sweet hay and flax seed oil. Leaves a nice taste in my mouth. Easy to make without astringency. A full green flavor profile. Big unbroken leaves."

Relax and Rest in Organic Lu An Gua Pian

Date:December 14, 2010
Pros: Great Aroma, Smooth Body, High Quality, Whole Leaf Tea, Unique Flavor Profile
"I was looking for a mellow, but full on flavor green tea and found in it Organic Lu An Gua Pian. It is best steeped for the full 3 minutes. That gives it a nice, smooth, lightly sweet flavor that is not only satisfying, but satiating."

The Flavor Grows on You

Date:September 4, 2010
Pros: Great Aroma, Smooth Body, High Quality, Whole Leaf Tea, Unique Flavor Profile
"Green tea is supposed to be really good for you. I'm not supposed to have caffeine, so I pour off the first water after 40 seconds to get rid of it. Then I add more water and let it steep awhile. There is still plenty of flavor. It's a little unusual tasting, very earthy. But I've acquired a taste for it."
