Jade Oolong

Jade Oolong tea, made in China's Anxi province on a small co-op farm, is a competition grade, lightly oxided oolong tea with a complex, orchid-like taste.  This oolong tea has a distinctive silk mouth feel and a medium body.  The perfect loose tea for multiple infusion as the flavor will become more nuanced with each steeping.     • 4 oz. loose tea in bag     • 1 rounded tbsp. per 12 oz. cup     • Makes 25-30 cups

Smooth and Subtle:

"This tea reminds a bit of a Japanese Green, slightly grassy. Yet at the same time, it has a floral overtone. Seems to hold its flavor after a few steepings.
The flavor is very subtle, so you have to be in the mood for it.
This is the only oolong tea I've ever ordered, so I don't know much about them. But I liked this one."

"Well, as intense as a green tea can be. I've tried a lot of jade oolongs, but this one is particularly good. It is very tasty while remaining subtle. I dare say it's quite perfect."

Solid Anxi Oolong

"Great cup of tea. I have been hard pressed to find oolong's from Anxi so I was excited when I saw this one. I think Oolong's from that area are lighter and sweeter than other oolongs. The orchid flavor is there but more subtle and natural than the Orchid Oolong.
I like the less fermented style oolong. If you are a green tea drinker then this is a great progression to oolong.
The price is fantastic for such a high quality tea."
