The best chocolate truffle!

Date:February 4, 2011
Pros: Great Aroma, High Quality, Whole Leaf Tea, Unique Flavor Profile
"This is my favorite chocolate truffle. I like it with a touch of honey and a little steamed soy milk. It's spiciness is very unique. I love the chili and red pepper flavors. I didn't think I would, but MLT proved me wrong. The spiciness combined with the touch of fruitiness is perfect. I just love it!"

The perfect chocolate dessert tea...

Date:September 8, 2009
Pros: Great Aroma, High Quality, Smooth Body, Unique Flavor Profile, Whole Leaf Tea
"I've tried other chocolate teas, but none as good as this.... I use about 1.5 tablespoons of tea for a two-cup pot, then after steeping I add two tablespoons raw sugar and a tablespoon of cream.... Absolutely lovely."

Exotic

Pros: High Quality, Smooth Body, Unique Flavor Profile
"Very unique flavor - complex, -a sophisticated hint of mild smokey chocolate with just a touch of fruitiness and finally a hint of spicy chili . A dry finish in the mouth. I think this is a wonderful dessert tea or for drinking by the fire on a cold evening."

Upset my tummy

Date:September 8, 2008
Pros: Unique Flavor Profile
Cons: spicy
"I have tried variations of this tea from other companies. This came in the sampler that I ordered and I'm glad that I only have a small quantity of this one. This one is much heavier in the pepper and heat. I mixed this with my normal chocolate mate just I have done with the other variations and found this one to be much heavier on the pepper/heat. It actually upset my tummy a little so I do not recommend this one for breakfast or right before bed. Will not be ordering more."

Excellent buy

Date:July 12, 2008
Pros: Great Aroma, High Quality, Smooth Body, Unique Flavor Profile
"With one sip you can taste the chocolate and apple and strawberry. The tea has a bit of a kick with chili and red pepper, not too hot but enough to enhance the taste of the chocolate and fruit. A bite of a chocolate of your liking before taking a sip will enhance the flavors of the tea. On the top of everything the aroma of the tea is out of this world-it takes you far far away to Mayan times."

One of my favorites

Date:March 3, 2008
Pros: High Quality, Great Aroma
"The first time I opened the package, I was amazed at how potent the Peppermint was. Detox has a great flavor which makes it a personal favorite. It sets the mind at ease knowing the health benifits associated with the tea."

Exotic and spicy chocolate

Date:February 12, 2008
Pros: Unique Flavor Profile, Great Aroma, High Quality, Whole Leaf Tea
"For those times when I want a strongly-flavored chocolate tea, but shouldn't have the caffeine of a black tea, Mayan Chocolate Truffle is perfect. The chili and red pepper balance the fruit and the chocolate, saving this tea from becoming too cloyingly sweet."

"This is a unique tea, for sure. As previously mentioned, a sweet ending to a meal perhaps. Also an alternative to hot cocoa, pretty nice with a touch of milk and honey. It's just a little on the light side for me."
