It its not bitter at all, has a slightly sweet flavor and is a gorgeous gold/green color.

Quite possibly the best tea...

Date:May 20, 2010
Pros: Great Aroma, High Quality, Smooth Body, Unique Flavor Profile, Whole Leaf Tea
Cons: gone too soon
"opened bag and was pleased by the aroma. floral with a bit of a sweet note. brewed it up and was very pleasantly surprised at how good it was. the aroma wafting from the bag does the tea no justice, it is about 10 times better in the cup."

Smooth Blend

Date:April 13, 2010
Pros: Great Aroma, High Quality, Smooth Body, Unique Flavor Profile, Whole Leaf Tea, includes aloe!
"This is a wonderful blend, I was pleasantly surprised.
i was intrigued by the addition of aloe to green tea.
Aloe Serenity turns out to be a beautifully balanced cup of tea, not too floral/fruity, and not too "green", and with a fullness I wouldn't expect from a green blend. I was surprised, it was better than I'd hoped it would be!
I keep the temperature of the steeping water well below boiling, at about 180. I use the measuring spoon that comes in the bag of tea which is the perfect scoop size for an 8 ounce cup. I cover the steeping cup for about 3 minutes, and the tea is perfect. It tastes very healthful.

"This is the nicest tea I have ever tasted, and I was brought up by a tea connoisseur. The flowery scent and slight tanginess, and knowing it's good for me at the same time - wow! It's the best - well, so far. I have not tried them all!"

Good idea, not too great a taste

Date:October 4, 2008
Pros: concept
Cons: Bitter, Sweet, thick
"I'm not a fan of this tea. The aloe caught my attention, and after reading some very positive reviews about it being a good night time calming tea, I thought I'd go for it. To me, this tea is too sweet. Reading the ingredients- I discovered sugar... why? I think it can do without the sugar. The taste itself is very syrup-like. It's thick and hard to drink once it's cooled off. I prefer it very hot, if at all. I tried steeping it on the strong side a few times to try and cover the sweet taste but that just resulted in bitter syrup-like tea. Which tasted awful. I've thrown out many cups trying to find the right formula for it. Overall, I'm not a fan."
