More decorative than practical

Pros: nice design

Cons: small size, not microwavable

"The teapot is small and lovely but as it came with no care instruction my friend searched on the website only to discover that although ceramic, it is not microwavable (a detail I failed to see prior to purchase). I find it impractical to have to heat up water in a separate container to then pour the hot water in the tea pot for steeping, then pour into the drinking vessel...that's a lot of dirty dishes for 1 1/2- 2 cups of tea (if filled to the top the pot has a 16oz capacity). I'd rather just boil some water and steep the tea in the mugs. The tea variety included was however very nice."
