"I have ordered the Hojicha Green Tea several times because of its nutty robust flavor and taste, which has proven to be an integral part of my daily morning routine. I especially enjoy the fact that it does not have a bitter taste, like many other brands of green tea that I have had. In the mornings when I get to work, I must have a cup of Hojicha to enhance my mood and give me a boost in order to tackle my daily tasks. It is an awesome tea and I HIGHLY recommend it."

"This pan-fired green is a hearty tea that is very pleasing to the palate. Now, I'm not saying I don't drink other green teas--everything has its place--say a nice sushi dinner or iced on a hot summer day, but Hojicha escapes the harsh and sometimes almost metallic taste of ordinary green tea and can be enjoyed morning, noon and night. This is a tea for coffee drinkers because it's full-bodied, hearty, and refreshing"

From Coffee to Tea

it didn't love me. It gave me not only coffee breath and yellow teeth but it also started to take it's tole on my stomach.
I was visiting a Four Seasons Resort and was served the Oranic Hojicha Green tea by mistake. I decided to try it and I have been drinking it ever since. It has the richness of coffee but without the side affects. I feel better and look better too!"

"I am normally a decaf green tea drinker...I did NOT like this tea at all. It had almost a coffee-like flavor. It just was not for me. Still high quality...but not my personal favorite. Did not taste like the green tea I am 'used' to. Was almost bitter and it smelled bad. I gave it to my mom who loves all kinds of tea and she said she didn't really like it, but would drink it."
