"This is the first time I have used loose tea and don't know much about how different the tea would differ from what comes in more store bought tea bags.
I got Sanctuary for its calming/relaxing effects. And in that area the tea is perfect. However, it is pretty bitter so with out a little sugar or honey I wouldn't be able to drink it."

"Some may like this flavor, I know this is a personal preference, but to me this tea is just too antiseptic tasting. I believe it is the licorice in combination with something else. (I enjoy the slight licorice flavor in the Ginger Twist, for example.)
Otherwise, it is a very intriguing tea. It is fresh and invigorating and has a variety of flavors that, when I first take a drink, I enjoy. in fact upon first sip I thought I was going to like this tea a lot. But it leaves a strong aftertaste that while OK for me at first, seemed to grow. I became less tolerant of that aftertaste as time went on (and, perhaps, as the tea cooled a bit?) Before the end of the cup I couldn't take it any longer and couldn't even finish the cup.
I received this in the Wellness variety pack and thought I might like it. I usually like a brisk, minty tea. I am enjoying some of the other flavors but I'll have to find someone to give the rest of the Sanctuary tin to."

"I received a sample of this and decided to brew a cup while at work (I work in a spa). Found myself getting extremely sleepy not too long after drinking it! Not sure if it is for me, but it would make a good tea in the late evening or after dinner, to aid with digestion, perhaps."

"I love licorice but there is something off with the flavor of this blend that I cant quite put my finger on. I tried brewing for both short and longer amounts of time and still it was...well, awful. It tastes medicine like and quite honestly, my first comment was that it tasted akin to the smell of a cat litter box!
I adore Mighty Leaf teas but this is most definitely not on my list of recommendations. I am curious as to who this blend would actually appeal to?"

Very Good, But Mostly for Licorice Lovers

"Most people it seems have a love hate relationship with Licorice. I for one am not a fan. With that in mind, I would like to point out that the tea, in and of itself, is of high quality and tastes very good. This is with the exception (in my case) of a subtle Licorice after taste that stays with you. Point being that any buyer should be aware of this element of the taste before they purchase."

"The tea has the same aroma as Rosemary, and has a taste similar to Detox (I believe it due to the Licorice). What surprised me was an overwhelmingly sweet aftertaste which put this tea over the top (this was without the addition of sugar). Given ample time to brew, this tea can be very flavorful."
