"A friend of mine who is notoriously difficult to buy for happened to mention she had tried a sample of Mighty Leaf's organic English Breakfast tea and declared it the very best she ever tasted.
As she hails from Great Britain, I made a mental note to buy her some. I bought the 100 bags. The recipient was thrilled. She was happy not to have a lot of packaging to deal with, too. Just a cardboard box filled with her favorite tea. AND it was on sale!"

Indulgence in Sugary water

"A few weeks ago, I ordered this Organic English Breakfast tea, and also the Green Tea. I have tried both, and just so disappointed.
First, the Organic English Breakfast tea is weak. No other way to say it. The Silk pouch is so sensual and indulgent, but the tea inside the pouch is weak, and sometimes all I taste is the sugar I add to the cup. If I add milk, then it's just sweet, slightly milky water.
I know how to brew a cup of tea. My husband is English and I learned many years ago about electric kettles, using water just off the boil, and letting it steep. I have tried many English Breakfast teas. This MightyLeaf is, by far, the weakest. It should be bold and awakening. But, it isn't.
I am so disappointed because the logo, the website, the mystic of a silk pouch, the whole package just implies pampering.
But, you need a good quality leaf.
Sorry, but this tea does not come close"

"My dad was an immigrant from England. Our family always drank tea -never coffee- for breakfast. ML English Breakfast Organic is the closest tea I've found to what I grew up drinking. It has hearty flavor, aroma, and color, but is never bitter. I add milk to breakfast tea, but the flavor of ML English Breakfast Organic still comes through.
Thank you for a tea that takes me "back home"."

"I have enjoyed this tea for many years, having first tasted it in a restaurant at Neiman Marcus. I cleaned out a cupboard that was full of other brands of black tea and English Breakfast tea, just to make room for ML English Breakfast Organic Tea! I have been an avid drinker of English Breakfast tea for 30 years, and this is by far the best-tasting one, in my opinion. Thanks, Mighty Leaf, for offering such a great sale price, too!"
