Bombay Chai - 100 pouches foil wrap

Bombay Chai tea with a melange of spicy notes conjures the steamy, aromatic delights of an Indian street market. Black tea leaves with subtle hints of pepper, orange, cinnamon, cardamom, and clove make up our chai, the Indian word for tea. Bombay Chai tea is delicious when brewed fresh and blended with heated milk and sugar to taste.

The best flavored chai ever!

Date:June 11, 2010
Pros: Great Aroma, High Quality, Smooth Body, Unique Flavor Profile
"Having been in Turkey, Iraq and Jordan--where I was introduced to chai in little glasses I have had many different chais--your Bombay blend is the best I have ever tasted and is not only my favorite hot tea, but I use a couple of tea bags to flavor my ice tea. When ever we have friends over and we asked them what they would like to drink--the overwelming reply is "Bogie's ice tea"--the one with your Bombay tea! Thank you, bogie"

Love Chai

Date:May 17, 2012
Pros: Easy-to-use Tea Pouch, Great Aroma, Smooth Body, High Quality, Unique Flavor Profile
"I can't drink plain, regular, breakfast, earl gray, etc. teas. They bore me and they're too tart. But I can't get enough Chai, especially really spicy, flavorful Chai. This Chai is delicious--not the spiciest or most flavorful, with a bit too much orange--I love orange, but I prefer my Chai to be more spice-heavy,but I still really enjoy this Chai. My favorite Mightly Leaf flavor (and probably favorite tea flavor ever) is the Orchid Oolong, so consider that!"

Pros: Easy-to-use Tea Pouch, Great Aroma, Smooth Body, High Quality, Unique Flavor Profile
Cons: Weak
"I love the spice of this Chai, however, I wish it brewed a little stronger as I like to put cream in it, but it washes out the flavor just a bit too much with very little cream."

"This is a comforting tea, I add a little milk and honey. It is my number one go to tea. Very clean, refreshing. Comes in a nice pouch, leaves are big not what I call tea dust...."

Awesome for homemade lattes

Date:February 17, 2012
Pros: Easy-to-use Tea Pouch, Great Aroma, High Quality
"Until I got a sample of this tea, I only used loose leaf chai, but now this is all I use. I think it is best for making homemade tea lattes, but if you like other chai plain, I'm sure this would be fine. I just prefer it with milk and sweetener."

Best way to buy tea

Date:January 4, 2012
Pros: Great Aroma, Smooth Body, Unique Flavor Profile, High Quality
"I have been drinking Mighty Leaf Bombai Chai for a couple of years. The taste is far superior than other black Chai teas.
Even when buying a few boxes at a time, the day to restock rolls around all too quickly. My wife discovered that we could purchase boxes of one hundred foil wrapped bags at a time. This seems to work out very well for me. The foil wrappers aren't as slippery as the cellophane and look better out in the open. This is the way we will go from now on."

In a word: ADDICTED!

Date:November 10, 2011
Pros: Easy-to-use Tea Pouch, Great Aroma, Unique Flavor Profile
"I would say I fell in love with this tea while in San Francisco recently, but let's be frank: it's like crack and I became addicted with the first sip! I love spice teas and this one is perfect. I absolutely wakes me up in the morning, and sometimes when I'm dragging in the afternoon I'll have a second cup. I despise coffee, so this gives me my wake up call and does it with such wonderful flavor.
I usually put a couple of Splenda in after steeping and that's it, but after reading other people's reviews, I'll have to try it with a little 1% milk sometime."

Ok, not a favorite

Date:October 27, 2011
Pros: Easy-to-use Tea Pouch
Cons: Flat, Weak
"I like chai teas, but I found this one to be a little flat. I doctor mine up with extra clove extract, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and the like. When I do this, it is not too bad. However, that is not really why I buy tea (to have to "doctor it up"). This is coming from someone who like their tea really weak (but this is really, really, really weak). I have even tried adding the cream and sugar (which is how most drink chai) and it still is not something I can drink without adding flavors. I am not sure if I will finish the box, or give it away, but I do know that I will not be buying this tea again."

Pros: Easy-to-use Tea Pouch, Great Aroma, Smooth Body, High Quality, Unique Flavor Profile
"When I want something satisfying, esp in the afternoon, but don't want to have a snack, a cup of hot chai with a little milk fits the bill. I love the blend of flavors and the milk makes it very soothing. It's the only tea I drink with milk."

Thank you ML, for a wonderful blend!"

Not a Chai fan.

Date:March 23, 2011
"I just have never had a chai that does not hurt my stomach. However, I got this for my sister. Her favorite is a vanilla chai, so I assumed that the Bombay Chai would work.
My sister said it is almost too spicy. She said she can definitely taste the pepper and long story short, it is still sitting in our tea shelf."
