"We received this tea as a sample with a previous order. When we brewed it and smelled how good it was we wished that we had more. Once we tasted it we were hooked. It has the most amazing flavor profile. I am a vanilla bean loose tea lover because that tea has such a smooth and complex flavor with the vanilla. This tea is easily becoming my favorite. We thought that it tasted of chocolate and mint but with an almost sweet alcohol flavor. With the addition of cream it seemed almost like a Christmas coffee flavor. Simply amazing! We've ordered a pound of it and I am hoping to adjust the amount to brew for my stronger tastes. Looking forward to receiving our new favorite tea."

"I hope I am reviewing the correct tea. I got a free sample of Chocolate Mint Truffle. Some places on this site the Roobios is listed by the name and in other places it is not, so, I'm hoping they are the same thing.
Anyway, I can only guess that something went wrong with the blend I got. Because I love chocolate and mint together - never met a chocolate or mint I didn't like. But this smelled and tasted like strong medicine /cleaning fluid. Just bad. I really don't think it was supposed to taste like it did- surely it's possible to get a pouch with too much of one ingredient. It was just awful"

Cons: can't taste cocoa through mint, leaves are extremely small
"I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed with this tea. Although I read another review talking about how minty it is, I decided to try it anyway. The mint absolutely over-powers the chocolate flavor, and the mint and rooibos combination didn't turn out to be my favorite. I was hoping it would be reminiscent of a mild hot cocoa, but this is absolutely not the case.
Also, the tea leaves are so very small that they jump right through most of my strainers and into the bottom of the tea cup. So unless you have a VERY fine mesh infuser, I would not recommend this."

Upgrade your infuser

"I love the flavor of this tea. It's sweet, but mellow so it could as easily be a breakfast tea as a dessert tea.
There is a problem though if your infuser has large holes. Bits and pieces will come out and you'll be straining them through your teeth. I received a really cheap infuser for a gift and never really used it until I got this first order of loose leaf tea. While it works fine for Earl Grey and many others I'm sure, the infuser just doesn't cut it for this tea. I'm ordering a new one with laser cut holes and hope that will allow me to enjoy this tea as it was meant to be."

"This tea is definitely becoming our new staple! Not being able to enjoy the caffenated teas (because of breastfeeding) I find roiboos to satisfy my palate and nourish my body at the same time. The ttuffle mint flavor has unique velvety feel to it. It is balancing, calming and exciting at the same time. Good as the morning, afternoon or night time tea. I do realize chocolate has caffeine as well, but in this combination with mint and roiboos I do not feel it at all. Love it!"
