A white tea from China's southern Fujian province, Chrysanthemum Silver Needle is only harvested for a couple of days each spring and boasts young tender buds plucked right before opening. Also known as Bai Hao Yin Zhen, our highly sought after Silver Needle has exquisitely shaped buds enveloped in white down.
The Chrysanthemum's white petals yield a refreshing and buttery cup with a sweet fragrance, resulting in a blend that dazzles with its savory aroma, rich body and smooth delicate flavor.

"90 to 95 percent chrysanthemum! I was expecting the reverse. I'm going to experiment with adding a few (2 or 3) chrysanthemum blooms to some other teas and see how that turns out. I did not care for the taste - the tea was overpowered."

"This is my first order with your company. I wanted white tea. I ordered white tea with chrysanthemum in it. Big mistake for me. I ordered a very big order of it and I have to pick out all of the flowers so that I can make my white tea several times per day. Would you direct me to a white tea of this quality without any other plants or flavors in it? I know that due to white teas lack of color and taste, the Chinese feel that they need to jazz it up with something else. I am a purist and I only want the best white tea that I can find. "I love chrysanthemum tea. The smell is wonderful and when it blooms in the hot water it's a pretty sight as well. The tea is light yet flavorful, great when you need something to warm you up and not keep you up."
