Ebony
Ebony Flower is a beautiful black tea flower from the lower Assam region of India and consists of leaves that are hand-tied and sewn.
This flower boasts a very malty, delicate flavor with a dry finish, akin to a dry red wine. Though most tea flowers should only be infused once, the Ebony Flower can be infused up to three times and is incredibly smooth each time.

"This is a beautiful tea in its presentation. And no matter how long you leave the flower in the cup, it doesn't get bitter. It is a very mild tasting tea. If you love a strong flavor, this isn't for you. My mother takes her teabag after barely tinting the water because she loves a very weak tea (no, I don't understand that!), and she can keep the flower in her cup the whole time without complaint."

"This is a great tea to use in a clear mug. It opens up to look like a sea anemone. You can use it over a few times without it becoming bitter. It produces a red/amber color. The drawback if you like strong teas is that this is pretty mild."
