Not as useful as you'd think.

"I was very excited when I found this item, I thought it'd be perfect to make my iced teas because of the strainer that was part of item. I wanted to replace my Bodum coffee press that I've been using to brew tea.
I was very disappoined when I got it. Although the center of the strainer had small holes, the outside of the piece had 4 long jellybean shape openings that allowed some leaves to get into my tea. It defeated the purpose of having a strainer at all. It also comes with a "shot glass" which really has no purpose.
The quality left a lot to be desired. It was made of a hard, brittle plastic that got scratched up when I used a sponge to clean it. In addition I accidently dropped it and it cracked in 3 places and made it unusable. I had to throw it away."
