"This is my absolute favorite of the chocolate truffle teas, and is the one that got me to try the other truffle teas. Actually, this has become my favorite tea overall and I never expected that I would even like any chocolate flavored type of teas. I tend to drink this as a special treat type of tea, and this one can certainly wash away the stresses of a bad day.
I like to pour it into an insulated cup and just sip at it for an hour. My preference is to drink it black with a dollop of raw honey.
My only complaint is that it is not available in a 4oz or 1lb package. If it was then I certainly would buy it by the pound!"

Cons: the truffle flavor overpowers the pear & caramel, the truffle chocolate is all you can taste, the delicate pear flavor is absent, nothing like the old pear caramel sold by mighty
"I purchased this tea in hopes of capturing the similar flavor of Mighty Leaf Tea company's delightful pear caramel tea, which I first had at afternoon tea at The Drake Hotel in Chicago. Sadly, Mighty Leaf NO longer sells the pear caramel as loose tea alone (their pear caramel tea is now only sold as part of a collection). My purchase was a BIG BIG MISTAKE! :( :( :( :(
The pear caramel truffle tea tastes NOTHING like the pear caramel tea, the chocolate truffle flavor completely overpowers the pear & caramel tones. This was absolutely the most disappointing purchase I have made made from this company!:)"

Not as good as the Pear Caramel I had at the Ritz

"I bought this tea because my daughter and I went to a tea at the Ritz. They served the Pear Caramel, which I guess is no longer available, and that is a shame. I bought this one thinking it would be close and as good. I really don't care for it at all. It is way too rich, heavy, and not sweet enough for my liking. I am sorry I bought such a large tin."
