"The chocolate mint truffle is amazing. I actually bought a bulk purchase of sachets for holiday gifts. Appearance: blend of rooibos and mint leaves, with cacao nibs. Pleasant loose but better in sachets (rooibos has a tendency to slip through many mesh strainers). Liquor: traditional rooibos reddish-brown. Smell: okay, not as good as the taste. Taste: very smooth and surprisingly chocolate-y. The rooibos is a nice, soft base, and the mint is soothing. When I’m in the mood for this, it’s just delicious. (I hope a 4/5 doesn't skew the results too much - I just give full scores very rarely)."

"I absolutely love Mighty Leaf tea. I have several different varieties of Mighty Leaf tea in my home for my enjoyment as well as my friends enjoyment, they know when they come for a visit they will find a delicious cup of tea as well as good company.
However, I just tried the Chocolate Mint Truffle but was disappointed for the first time in the taste. I was hoping for a stronger chocolate & mint taste but when I drank it I did not

"With a name like "Chocolate Mint Truffle," I was expecting a much sweeter tea with stronger chocolate flavors. The tea itself is pretty good, but the mint adds an almost medicinal taste. I bought this as a gift and ordered the free sample so I could try it too, and I have a feeling the person I bought it for is not going to like it."

"I've tried several blends from Mighty Leaf and I found this blend to be the least palatable. The flavor profile was neither "chocolaty" or "minty". In fact, the tea smelled and tasted more like cough syrup. I was hoping for a dessert-like tea but I was very disappointed. Instead, I found that the Vanilla Bean and Green Tea Tropical blends are far more flavorful and satisfying."

"I got this tea for Christmas a few years ago and it was my favorite. Like a dessert--it not only tasted great but the smell was so warm and relaxing with the heavy chocolate mint aroma. I'd immediately gone out and bought several boxes. Then I decided to purchase a box recently from the Mighty Leaf website and was disappointed. It's still a tasty tea but does not have the full taste and wonderful aroma it had. I have rationed the tea bags I had previously and they are still as wonderful as I remember, so it's not just the memory. These are definitely different. Not as strong in flavor or aroma. I will still enjoy this tea, but long for what it was."
