Wonderful pot for two

Date:July 20, 2010
Pros: Durable, Functional, Easy To Use, High Quality, Stylish
"We've had this pot for over ten years and unfortunately cracked it yesterday so that it leaks on the side. So happy to have found it on this website and at a very reasonable price (compared to Wm. Sonoma where we bought our original one)! This pot is perfect for a large(12 oz. each) two cup morning tea and the insulated cover keeps the pot warm for the next two cups. We don't use the infuser basket as we like our tea loose, floating around and really getting into the H2O -- just use a strainer when we pour it. Highly recommended. It's sturdy, pretty, easy to clean and as long as you don't (accidentally) bang it against a very hard surface, will last for a very long time."

Nothing else will do

Date:January 4, 2010
Pros: High Quality, Functional, Stylish, Easy To Use
"No where else have I been able to find a teapot that looks good, is easy to clean and keeps the tea hot.
It is the perfect size for a mug of tea, or just a couple cups of tea. We love it.

Great Idea, Not So Great Execution

Date:December 10, 2009
Pros: Durable, High Quality, Functional, Stylish, Easy To Use
Cons: hard to keep clean, poor value
"This teapot has a lid with a built-in cozy to keep the tea warm. While that is a great idea, it suffers a little in the execution. The cozy is the felt liner of the metal lid. As a result, if I pour the tea a little too fast, the tea overflows into the felt liner and stains it. I cannot find a way to clean it off. If a tea stained liner doesn't bother you, then I recommend it, because it succeeds in keeping the tea warm."

Felt liner
Posted January 8, 2011
I had the same problem and I was able to find a source for new liners, but unfortunately I can't find them anymore. If anyone knows where to get them, please let me know.

Cleaning the Liner
Posted September 19, 2010
The felt liner can be removed by unscrewing the handle on top of the lid, taking out the metal retaining piece at the top of the interior of the lid, and then gently pulling the liner free from the six retaining clips. The clips can be pried open a bit with a table knife if necessary. Once removed, you can wash the liner by hand, and even soak it in water with some bleach, to return it to pristine whiteness. The liner dries quickly, and is easily re-installed. I think the lid and liner are really quite well designed for maintenance over the long term.

Wonderful teapot

Date:November 8, 2007
Pros: Stylish, Easy To Use, High Quality, Functional
Cons: Easy to clean
"I use my teapot all the time. I have had it for five years and it is in wonderful condition. I actually have been searching for it on-line because I would like to find it in other colors! It stands up to abuse well (abuse being the cat knocking it off of the counter)."
