Customer Reviews for Gold Bud Beencha Pu-erh, 1999

Gold Bud Beencha Pu-erh, 1999

Gold Bud Beencha pu-erh tea  consists of young Chinese black tea leaves picked in early spring and exhibits a delicate, softer flavor than other traditional Pu-erh teas. Compressed into a tea cake or Beencha, the tender leaves generate a well balanced and hearty cup. Good for multiple infusions. The Beencha measures 4" across. 4 oz. tea cake

Not your father's Pu Erh

Date:March 29, 2012
Pros: Smooth Body, Unique Flavor Profile
"Excellent flavor and very full bodied with buttery mouthfeel. Not the sheer power of some Pu Erh, but a great alternative."

Smooth & Tasty

Date:August 7, 2009
Pros: Smooth Body
"I felt I did not need to rinse this tea before steeping - as the taste was so smooth (unlike Ancient Trees which needs a couple rinses before steeping). This is a quality pu-erh with a malty character. Handles multiple steepings."
