"when I first had the pleasure of tasting this tea it was served to me at a noodle house. I found it so delicious I had to enquire. to my surprise she not only explained to it's uniqueness, but told me where I could purchase it. I was very thankful because I did not live there and would otherwise not have access to it. this tea has become a part of my personal quiet time. thank you."

"I had tea at the Mayflower in DC and they served Orchid oolong and I was hooked. I searched the internet until I found someone selling it and found it hear at Mighty Leaf Tea. It is smooth, with a hint of floral scent. Even my 25 year old son enjoys it."

"Before you get into this tea, you must know something. There's no option for a pound! This is the kind of tea that you crave when coming home from work. It is the tea that makes your mornings so wonderful; this tea is absolutely amazing! It harbors a unique malty taste that is hard to miss. I can't stop drinking this tea!

interesting but not really my, well, cup of tea

"The first thing that threw me was noticing that some twigs were present. The liquor was very pretty. The smell of the brewed liquour was interesting, floral but with the richness I associate with oolong. The tea had the smooth, light smokiness I like in an oolong, but I thought the floral notes predominated. I don't really like floral notes with my teas (example - I dislike even the fanciest jasmines). Because the floral notes were so pronounced, it was just something I didn't like. The tea wasn't bad, and for people who like jasmine, I think it probably would be lovely. Just not for me."

"I first had Orchid Oolong at a restaurant, and searched for it in the stores afterwards. I can't seem to find it, so I ordered online. The loose leaf was much more affordable and more green ;-) so I got 2 pouches. It's a nice dark oolong with a coconut flavor. Sweet enough that it doesn't need sugar, and creamy enough that it doesn't need milk. Perfect, as is, this tea makes me very happy."

"Out of the bag, strong aromas of vanilla and butter. recommend rinsing tea in hot water for 10-15 seconds before steeping. Second infusion will be smoother but a little bland.

"Like another reviewer, I received this as a free sample with an order and was shocked at how good it was. I'd seen the name of the tea on the site before and passed it by because in my mind, orchids don't conjure up any flavors or scents I'd want in a tea. Luckily, this tea has nothing to do with orchids. It's creamy and rich but not at all cloying, unlike some other teas with tropical notes. The caffeine level is perfect for morning or afternoon. This will be an everyday drink for me!"
