"Appearance: warm red and brown ... wood chips? ;-) Liquor: coppery red, with sedimentation - I recommend a sachet or fine mesh filter. Smell: the smell is amazing! it has a warm earthy smell with bright citrus notes. Just opening the bag and taking a whiff can make me happy. Taste: as billed, this is very similar to rooibos but with citrus notes and a slightly sweeter taste. Taken straight, I prefer honeybush to to rooibos (the more neutral flavor of rooibos works better in blends). 7/10."

"This is a classic to me. Open up the packaging and it smells almost like an unlit cigar. Rich, bold, earthy to smell. Once brewed (the longer the better) you get the same earthy taste, but with sweet overtones. Very soothing and caffeine-free. Great tea for anytime of the day. (again, the stronger you like your flavor profile, the longer I would steep this one)"

"I was so absolutely pleased and astonished at the wonderful flavor of this tea AND that it is caffeine free AND organic. It has a rich smooth flavor with hints of citrus. So often, I have been disappointed by teas that have competing odds and ends flavors popping up here and there as a distraction from sip to sip. However, this is a lovely symphony of well balanced flavors."

"This does not have a strong or distinctive flavour for a tea. At one point I was thinking there was little more taste than the stevia I was using. As a mild tea it's fine maybe better as a iced tea, I'll have to try that. One thing I definately didn't like was the amount of sludge left over at the bottom of the cup."

"It is important to steep this tea for a bit longer than other teas. I steep mine for at least 10 minutes.
However, once the tea has steeped sufficiently, this tea has a smooth, earthy taste with a wonderful honey aftertaste. Definitely one of my favorites!"

"Sweet and smooth finish. It's a very good morning or afternoon blend. It's a medium body, I reccomend 2 scoops vs 1 scoop (as reccomended on the package). The tea will appear darker, but it will only be a bit stronger.
The only downside in the cut. The powder is ground up very fine, so clean up can be a bit of a hassle."
