This tea is getting a bad rap!

Date:May 7, 2012
Pros: Great Aroma, Smooth Body, High Quality, Whole Leaf Tea, Unique Flavor Profile
"I adore this fine quality green and mint tea blend.Gunpowder green tea looks like little pellets that unfurl when brewed for a rich full fine green tea flavor . The Marrakesh mint is superb , a perfectly balanced cup iced or hot with a little honey or sugar Minty and refereshing. A year round favorite! Superb!"

Very little green tea...

Date:February 6, 2012
Pros: Great Aroma
"Pleasant taste, but as a caffiene lover...it was disappointing. Think of it as an herbal tea with a trace of real tea."

just the powder

Date:July 13, 2011
Pros: n/a
Cons: Flat, Weak
"This does not even look like tea. Does not have any taste and leaves are grinded to the powder, which flows in the cup. I had this tea in pouches - and that one is a lot better. Pouches at least had an aroma."

How to brew

Date:July 12, 2011
Pros: Great Aroma, High Quality
"This is a wonderfully refreshing tea, however, we found out the hard way that it is best to brew it in a big teapot and then strain it rather than trying to use it in one of the "in cup" infusers...the tea leaves are so fine that they end up getting into the tea. This is, however, a keeper because of it's delicate taste."

Not Whole Leaf

Date:April 28, 2011
Pros: Smooth Body, Unique Flavor Profile
Cons: not whole leaf
"I love this tea and have a whole box of the pouches. I decided to get a personal tea cup with built in infuser to try whole leaf. Got the bag of tea in and it is the same size leafs as the pouches or worse so the tiny leafs goes right through the infuser screen. I bought several other green tea blends and they work just fine. So if you are going to try the blend get the pouches unitl they fix this issue."

Pros: Great Aroma
"I don't have any fancy words of wisdom, just wanted to say that I am glad I made the purchase. I was at a Moroccan restaurant and really enjoyed the mint tea and this is blend mimics the flavors nicely. Not quite the same, but good none the less."

Great Blend

Date:February 8, 2010
Pros: Great Aroma, High Quality, Unique Flavor Profile, wonderful while you wait for it to cool, just the right amount of mint
Cons: Prefer Tea Pouches
"I had this as an after workout refresher and it was amazing. I have been looking for store locations with this specific flavor to no avail.
I like the more robust blend of the mint with the green tea body. Pure mint tea lacks that full body and green teas are often too earthy for me, especially as they cool. This works to the last drop"

Good

Date:December 11, 2009
Pros: Great Aroma, Smooth Body
Cons: green tea part is a bit weak
"I like it but I wish it has stronger green tea taste. Aside from my preference, it is good mint tea overall. If you are looking for mint tea in general, this tea is a good choice.

Good enough to make a Moroccan coworker nostalgic.

Date:July 26, 2008
Pros: Great Aroma, Smooth Body, Whole Leaf Tea
"One day, a coworker that sits next to me turned and commented about the aroma of my tea wafting past him. He continued to wax nostalgic about Casablanca, his home town, and how this tea seemed to balance the Chinese gunpowder and the mint just right."

Wonderful Green

Date:July 10, 2008
Pros: Great Aroma, High Quality, Smooth Body, Unique Flavor Profile
"After having this tea in a restaurant years ago, I began purchasing for myself from Mighty Leaf and have now gone on to make many, many other tea purchases. Although I am a fan of green teas in general, I especially love the mint combintion that makes Marrakesh MInt so smooth and rich. The aftertaste is splendid too."

The Middle East's Treasure

Date:February 23, 2008
Pros: Unique Flavor Profile, Great Aroma, High Quality, Smooth Body
"I usually don't go for this kind of tea, instead going for traditional green teas. I decided to take a chance and sample Marrakesh Mint, and I was not disappointed. The aroma is pleasurable enough, but when you take the first sip, you're whisked away by the comforting mint flavor, but not overwhelmed by it."

Mighty Leaf's Mighty Mint!

Date:February 5, 2008
Pros: Smooth Body, High Quality, Great Aroma
"My first concern about this tea was that it was gunpowder style and not whole leaf. My concerns were quickly nullified after sipping the first cup. Minty smooth tea with a subtle buttery after taste. I enjoined the inclusion of nana mint from morocco as this product is truely a Moroccon mint tea."
