A bit too flowery

Date:February 15, 2013
Pros: High Quality, Whole Leaf Tea
Cons: too many roses
"This is a good quality black tea; however, we found there to be too many rose petals. We have opted to "mix" it with our loose leaf Earl Grey tea. It is a heavenly combination."

Highly fragrant tea

Date:March 20, 2012
Pros: High Quality, Whole Leaf Tea, Unique Flavor Profile
Cons: a little too flowery
"A little like drinking potpourri, especially with the size of the dried rosebuds in the mix! Not a regular choice for me, but I'm trying it mixed with other teas for an iced tea. It's a very high quality product, but the roses are a bit too perfumey for my taste. I think, in the right mixture, could be a great iced tea."

"Lychee" taste is strong

Date:July 13, 2011
Pros: Great Aroma, High Quality, Whole Leaf Tea, Unique Flavor Profile
Cons: too strong "lychee" flavor
"This is a wonderfully aromatic tea, but if you steep too long it can become bitter. I've been looking a long time for a rose with lychee tea flavor, and this is the closest I've found, but the "lychee" flavor is stronger than I like, I want a subtler flavor. I do like it though and I recommend it!"

Love this tea!

Date:January 20, 2011
Pros: Great Aroma, Smooth Body, Unique Flavor Profile
"After getting a tea-for-one set for my birthday in October, I've been trying out various loose leaf teas. Mandarin Rose has been my favorite so far. It's so nice to drink a tea that tastes so good and has the bonus of the gentle scent of roses!"

Sweet and Strong

Date:July 15, 2010
Pros: Great Aroma, Whole Leaf Tea
"This is one of my favorite black teas. The sweetness of the roses makes it perfect for an iced tea, but when it isn't 100 degrees out it makes an excellent cup of black tea."

Grew on Me

Date:January 25, 2010
Pros: Unique Flavor Profile, Whole Leaf Tea
Cons: Bitter
"At first, I wasn't impressed with this tea. The flavor was so different than any tea I'd ever tried, especially the aftertaste. But, I have to say, after drinking this for a few months, I've grown to really enjoy this tea. It's fruity and light ... very refreshing. You have to be careful while brewing this one though .... it can definitely be bitter if brewed too long. All and all, a nice change of pace from the typical flavored teas."

Roses?

Date:September 29, 2009
Pros: Great Aroma, Unique Flavor Profile, Whole Leaf Tea
"I tried this tea after having bought :Celebration" in the past ... just to try something different. I was surprised at the large amount of rose petal in thre blend. Dry, the tea smelled a lot of roses, but brewed it didn't taste a whole lot different than Celebration. Nonetheless, it was tasty."

A rose by any other name

Date:March 2, 2009
Pros: Great Aroma, High Quality, Smooth Body, Unique Flavor Profile, Whole Leaf Tea, sweet flavor lingers
"To inhale the scents of this tea or to sip it, is to travel down poetry lane, wanting to surround oneself with picture books and vases of roses. One of the best treats you can give yourself or someone you really care about; better than eating boxes of chocolates."
