a good mix to sample

"I like some of these teas but not others, so having a sampler like this was great for sampling. In order of like to dislike:
1) The chocolate mint truffle is amazing. I actually bought a bulk purchase of that for holiday gifts.
2) The chocolate orange truffle. Both the chocolate and orange flavors come through and are well balanced.
3) The Mayan chocolate truffle can be delicious when I'm in the right mood. I don't really like how the chocolate nuggets melt, because it makes the texture of the tea weird. But in the right mood, this is a tasty way to mix it up.
4) The masala chocolate truffle. This can be potent. Good, but heavy on the masala spices. To get away from the potency, I actually blended it with a black breakfast blend and appreciated the spiciness it added.
5 and 6) The pear caramel truffle and mocha pu-erh were boring to me - without much of a noticeable flavor other than black tea.
So, considered as a sampler, I like this. I know which ones I will order again and which ones I will not."

"Chocolate Orange Truffle, Mayan Chocolate, and Orange Chocolate Truffle were all true to name and quite pleasing. Masala Chocolate is true to the name Masala but not the chocolate. I'm not certain what word to use to describe the Pear Caramel Truffle. It is a smooth body with a soft flavor but it didn't bring to mind pears. Perhaps the combination with caramel was a bit overwhelming. The Mocha Pu-erh Truffle didn't have a distinct flavor. It is very good, but I can't say that I tasted the mocha flavor. It was a very good, smooth pu-erh but I have not had many pu-erh's to be able to compare to. All in all this is a great combination of teas that is a great way to try lots of different flavors or to give as a gift."

"Each of these samplers had their own unique flavor profile, but all were a little bit of heaven! I never brew just one cup, so the loose tea works well for me. Even the aroma is soothing. And for those dieting, what's better than a chocolate dessert with no calories! The Mayan Chocolate Truffle is my favorite, but all have found a place in my heart and cupboard from now on."

"This is a great opportunity to sample all 6 loose teas in the Chocolate Truffle category. I already loved Chocolate Mint Truffle, but hadn't tried the others--Mayan Chocolate Truffle was so good, I ordered a pound as soon as I ran out. Masala Chocolate Truffle was highly unique and exotic--not an every-day tea, but maybe once-a-week. Chocolate Orange Truffle was good, but Mocha Pu-erh Truffle and Pear Caramel Truffle had a weaker flavor, even when doubling the amount of tea leaves--a little too subtle for me."
