Organic Detox - 4 oz.
The cleansing properties of this blend relax the nerves, organs and membranes as dandelion targets the liver, licorice root nurtures the heart and spleen, and burdock root purifies the blood. Peppermint promotes healthy digestion and aids in soothing indigestion. Red clover and hearty herbs add anti-inflammatory qualities, calm the stomach and reduce blood sugar levels. "My first order included: Organic Detox, Ginger Twist, Chamomile Citrus, Wild Blossoms & Berries & 100 package of African Nectar. To my surprise, "Organic Detox" is the family 2nd favorite tea. The strange thing it’s never a drink the family does together. Everyone drinks it on their own time. We love the flavor and health benefits. I like to drink it at night with Blue Berry Blossom honey before I go to bed. I see they have it now in a tea bag format, which is a great for road trips."

"I purchased this tea as apart of the "wellness mini-loose collection". I did this because I genuinely enjoy drinking tea at all hours of the day and only having black teas around is not best when you want to get to bed in an hour.

This is genuinely an amazing tea. Even though I am a fan of strong flavored tea, this delicate tea I found very satisfying. "This tea is very yummy and I could really taste the peppermint in it, although it wasn't overpowering (it didn't taste like a candy cane). The detox action works really well. I have a somewhat sensitive system. I drank it before bed and the next morning after my shower I felt the effects of the detox, if you know what I mean. A day later I felt much better and even skinnier!"

"This tea is refreshing. Has a strong mint aroma. This tea is calming to the nervous system and also to the body, just as its name, "Detox" suggests. I do not care for this tea hot, as it tastes bitter and almost medicinal. "It's possible this blend does exactly what it claims and "detoxes" your system in some way, but with a flavor like this, I'd rather remain toxic.. I can't think of a good way to describe the flavor, but it was bitter, somewhat earthy, and unpleasant. I do like many herbal teas (particularly African Nectar from this company) so this was a disappointment. Even after dumping in two packets of Stevia, I couldn't choke this down."

"I was introduced to this line of products at The Umstead Hotel & Spa, Cary, NC just recently. This tea is perfect as is, no sweeteners are required because of the licorice. The spicy/minty flavor is very clean on the palate. What most excited me about this blend was how quickly I noticed the results! It energized me, I highly recommend for long hours at the office when you need a "pick-me-upper." I was really amazed at how soon my body reacted as I flushed away toxins."
