"I've had this brewing accessory long before Mighty Leaf got it in stock, and I've always loved it! It is the perfect way to get your tea exactly right, without over or under steeping it. The mesh filter is extremely fine, and catches every little leaf.
It is deceptively simple - put the leaves and hot water in the top section, which is removable, and let steep with the cover on to keep it warm. When it is done, you press the small lever which pops up the metal stopper, releasing the tea into the glass pitcher below, and the leaves will remain in the top chamber, ready for another infusion, or to be tossed.
Cleaning is also quite easy - simply tip the leaves into your trash or compost (sometimes you may need to swish some water in them to loosen), rinse all the parts with hot water, and let dry.
The single, very tiny problem I've found is that sometimes a leaf or two will get caught behind the lever, but it can easily be grabbed with a fingernail, or just swished with water a few times to flush it out. Also, you may want to be careful with the bottom pitcher, since it is glass (the top chamber and lid are plastic, though.)
This is a fantastic device that I've had for a few years now, and use it constantly - it has held up great! Works like a charm every time, and definitely makes the brewing process easier and more controlled. Highly recommended, and you will absolutely get your money's worth."
