"After tasting MT African Amber at a ski lodge, I knew I had to get some for myself, only to find out that you cannot buy African Amber in any store. It can only be purchased online from MT, and it is quite expensive. This is some of the most intriguing teas I have ever had. It is a complex tea with a floral and sweet aroma and beautiful reddish color, yet it is not cloyingly fruity. It has smooth and clean body and thankfully lacks that tongue-coating residue that I find so annoying in some teas. I purchased the loose-leaf tea which is more economical than the pouches."

"This is a tea you want plain. It holds its own. A wonderful amber color combines with a smooth unique flavor. Some tiny leaves slip through my infuser but it doesn't change my love of the tea it is that good."
