Pros: Great Aroma, Whole Leaf Tea
"beautiful aroma, but I need a bit more black tea in my blended tea, so I mix a teaspoon of the leaves of provence with a teaspoon of breakfast tea when I make a pot. The scent takes me right to the fields of Provence!"

More lavender, no mint

Date:April 6, 2011
Pros: Great Aroma, Smooth Body, High Quality, Whole Leaf Tea, Unique Flavor Profile
Cons: lose the mint
"I use herbes de provence (the seasoning) all the time when I cook. I ordered the tea eagerly (two bags worth). based on the reviews.
Alas, mediocre result. The authentic herbes de provence consists of: savory, rosemary, basil, marjoram, wild thyme and lavender buds. Imagine a tea of these! I did.
My mistake. I already use earl grey lavender tea, so I thought MLT would conjure up an even better result. MLT usually does. This time they did not.
An intriguing attempt. Please try again!

Not an Earl Grey, but Good in Its Own Right

Date:March 18, 2011
Pros: Great Aroma, Smooth Body
Cons: mint overwhelms
"I've been looking to replace an old tea blend from a defunct company (which itself was another replacement!), a mild Earl Grey with floral notes of lavender and other Provecal herbs.
Leaves of Provence is delicious, don't get me wrong, but the peppermit overwhelms everything else, even the black tea. Fortunately, I adore mint tea, especially on summer afternoons, so this tea is still perfect for me, just not for the purpose I was originally seeking it."

Strong with a Sensuous Minty Bite

Date:September 12, 2010
Pros: Great Aroma, Smooth Body, High Quality, Whole Leaf Tea, Unique Flavor Profile, potent brew
"Something must be said about this tea; something that I can hardly pinpoint. The tea is perfect if there ever were such a thing. By that I mean that all the parts work together cohesively, as they should, not merely taste good in conjunction. It is the kind of perfect that makes you think that you've tasted it before and that this flavour must certainly exist resolutely in nature. The components are harmonious and flawlessly portrayed. If you don't like mint, don't bother. For those that like mint, you will not regret this tea. I prefer unsweetened or very lightly sweetened. No cream. For most teas, I typically use more tea than recommended , with this, I use a little less."

Pros: Great Aroma, High Quality, Unique Flavor Profile
"I bought this tea on a whim and am so glad I did! First I had it hot and fell in love with the warmth and uniqueness of the flavors, but thought it might be even better cold. Boy was I right. It is a delicious summertime iced tea."

Great Leaf!

Date:June 11, 2010
Pros: Great Aroma, High Quality, Smooth Body, Unique Flavor Profile
Cons: Prefer Tea Pouches
"Really nice, pleasant aroma with an almost flowered scent, but still a nice black tea kick. Has a very complete mouthfeel and aftertaste. I find that a touch of sugar brings out the flavors best, though my wife insists on milk.
Biggest downside ot this tea is that it no longer comes in pouches! It's worth the extra trouble but i do miss the convenience."

Like a trip to Provence

Date:May 22, 2010
Pros: Great Aroma, High Quality, Unique Flavor Profile, masterful blend of flavors
"I absolutely love this tea. The aroma alone sends me to a sun drenched villa in France. The blend of black teas, mint and lavendar and all the other herbs packed in that little "vacation in a silk bag" are masterfully blended and a treat. Great for the mid day pick up.
I am heart broken to learn that this tea has been discontinued.
ML- PLEASE RECONSIDER!

"This tea is ok. Maybe I am just not a huge fan of black tea. It is very aromatic, and wonderful to smell. I also think I wanted a bit more lavender here, but for those who love black tea, will probably enjoy this tea."

Simply My Favorite Tea. Period.

Date:July 17, 2009
Pros: Great Aroma, High Quality, Smooth Body, Unique Flavor Profile, Whole Leaf Tea
"I'll keep this short and sweet. I'm not a fan of herbal or flavored teas, other than the occasional Earl Grey. But this tea has been a perennial favorite of mine. I drink it iced and unsweetened, for convenience, and because cold teas don't stain your teeth as badly as hot teas. But even cold it maintains a wonderful flavor.
Bravo, Mighty Leaf."
