California Fields

Chinese black and green tea is blended with California sunflowers, cactus flowers, and rhubarb creating our signature California Fields black tea blend. A lovely fruity tea that is subtly complex. California Fields makes a delicious iced tea with its black and green tea base.     • 4 oz. loose tea in bag     • 1 rounded tsp. per 12 oz. cup     • Makes 35-40 cups

Good flavor, not too fruity

Date:March 28, 2011
Pros: Great Aroma, Smooth Body, High Quality, Unique Flavor Profile
"Nice flavor, some of the fruit teas can be too fruit-forward, but the fruit in this one nicely rounds off the black tea flavor."

Love this Iced!

Date:January 31, 2011
Pros: Great Aroma, Unique Flavor Profile
"I got this in the Fruit of the Earth sampler pack. I liked it as a hot tea because the flavor was a little different compared to the other fruit ones. It had a nice spice to it - or something like that. I decided to make it iced, because many of the reviews recommend that. I love this tea iced. It is absolutely delicious. You can definitely taste the flavor more when it is iced and it has a nice floral, fruity flavor to it. I thought I wouldn't like things with a hint of floral flavor, but this is delicious."

Very floral

Date:April 26, 2010
Pros: Unique Flavor Profile
Cons: too floral
"Very floral. I suppose that's what this tea is advertised as, but the flavor gets lost in the fields. It's more a matter of tastes than a disparaging review, but I just didn't care for the overwhelming floral notes. That said, I decided to use it to make iced tea, and my wife was absolutely crazy about it. And, I have to admit, it makes a fantastic iced tea flavor."

A nice black tea change of pace

Date:April 15, 2010
Pros: Great Aroma, High Quality, Unique Flavor Profile
"I drink Organic Breakfast Tea every morning, but by the afternoon. I no longer want a clean simple cup of tea. I want tea with flavor, but that still has caffeine. This does the job perfectly."

My favorite Mighty Leaf!

Date:March 23, 2010
Pros: Great Aroma, High Quality, Smooth Body, Unique Flavor Profile, Whole Leaf Tea
"I wanted to try this, but only Amazon provided the one pound bag. I ordered it from them. Hopefully Mighty Leaf will do this soon.
I used to live in San Rafael and this tea, for me, brings back great times I had there. I find the combination of sunflowers, cactus flowers, and rhubarb combined with black and green teas, a strange grouping, turns out to be the most delicious tea I have had. I urge others, who may be skeptical, to try it out. You will be rewarded. The aroma alone is worth it!
